Amazon has introduced the updated Kindle Colorsoft model, which stands out with a lower price compared to the previous version. The original model, Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition, gained popularity due to its color screen, but had a higher price of $279.99.

The new Kindle Colorsoft model has the same 7-inch color screen and fast processor, but costs $30 less — $249.99. It also remains waterproof, allowing reading in the bath.

The updated version has reduced memory capacity to 16 GB, which, according to experts, is sufficient for storing text books. Although color books take up more space, the ability to delete and re-download content makes it convenient for users.

A version for kids is also available, the Kindle Colorsoft Kids, which includes a yearly subscription to Amazon Kids+ and a colorful case. The price of this model is set at $269.99.

Kindle Colorsoft features a bright and customizable color display, fast operation, the ability to highlight text in different colors, and convenience for reading comics. It also supports wireless charging, which was previously available only for the Kindle Paperwhite.
