Republican Senator Lindsey Graham commented on a recent statement from President Donald Trump regarding the war of Russia against Ukraine. He noted that the Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin admitted a serious miscalculation regarding Trump.

Graham expressed his view that Russia's actions indicate the absence of a genuine desire to engage in peace talks. He stated that Trump must present all the facts for resolution amid Russia's ongoing attacks on Ukraine.

"Putin is seriously mistaken, speaking with President Trump about a possible peace in Ukraine, while he is starting to strike at peaceful cities," the senator emphasized.

Graham expressed concern that countries supporting Putin's military actions, such as China, India, and Brazil, will not escape the consequences of their actions.

He also noted that Congress is ready to provide support to Trump in his efforts to engage in peace negotiations.

Trump previously announced his intention to shorten the deadline, regarding Russia's participation in establishing peace in Ukraine, to 10-12 days.
