The special event Speedway Classic, which will take place on August 2, will become historic for Major League Baseball. The match between the Atlanta Braves and the Cincinnati Reds will be held at the Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee.
According to league data, over 85,000 tickets have already been sold, breaking the previous attendance record of 84,587 spectators, set on July 12, 1954. This match will be the first held in Tennessee, and it promises to be a vibrant and memorable entertainment event.
During the event, musical performances are planned, including those by Tim McGraw, Pitbull, and Jake Owen. The ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by baseball stars Chipper Jones and Johnny Bench. The live broadcast of the match will be aired on FOX Sports.
