Ukraine Receives First Patria Armored Personnel Carriers from Latvia
- Latvia has transferred 42 Patria 6x6 armored personnel carriers to Ukraine.
- Discussions have been held regarding joint production of drones for the Ukrainian forces.

Ukraine has received the first batch of Patria 6x6 armored personnel carriers from Latvia. In total, 42 units of equipment will be transferred, as reported by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksii Reznikov, after a meeting with Latvian colleague Andris Spruds.
Reznikov expressed gratitude to Latvia for its contribution to strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities, including the provision of 42 armored personnel carriers. The first batch has already been delivered to Ukraine.
During the negotiations, they discussed the needs of the Ukrainian forces and the possibility of joint production of drones. The ministers agreed on the next steps in cooperation, including the activation of dialogue with the countries of the Northern and Baltic regions.
Additionally, during discussions with the Minister of Defense of Spain, Margarita Robles, Reznikov discussed ways to enhance Ukraine's defense capabilities on land, at sea, and in the air. They are preparing relevant agreements.
