Apple has introduced a public beta version of iOS 26, which includes significant updates for iPhone users. The main change lies in the new Liquid Glass design, which gives the system a modern look with enhanced interface elements.
The update includes new features such as dynamic panels in widgets that change based on user actions. Additionally, iOS 26 will allow for customization of the menu and button colors to match the phone's wallpaper, enhancing user convenience.
On the lock screen, new features will appear, including a dynamic size for the digital clock that adjusts based on the wallpaper and the quality of the images. Furthermore, a new blur effect creates a visual impression of depth, adding an extra aesthetic touch.
Changes also affect the home screen, where icons have become slightly larger, and the background panel with a search and dock has become more transparent. Users can select the "All Clear" mode for a greater effect.
As for compatibility, several iPhone models will no longer support iOS 26. These include the iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max. At the same time, newer models such as the iPhone 11 and later will be able to update to the latest version of the operating system.
The final release of iOS 26 is expected in mid-September, along with new iPhone models. Users who choose to remain on older versions may not receive important security updates and new features.
