On July 29, 2025, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expressed support for the actions of U.S. President Donald Trump, who announced a new term for Russia in the negotiations regarding peace in Ukraine. Trump shortened his previous term to "10 to 12 days," which means that Russia has approximately 25 days less for the acceptance of the decision.
Trump also emphasized that he does not plan to directly cooperate with Putin, indicating the possible sanctions for Russia if no progress is made in the negotiations. Zelensky praised Trump for his efforts in preserving life and preventing war.
At the same time, the Russian airline "Aeroflot" canceled over 50 flights due to a cyberattack carried out by Ukrainian hackers. This attack led to the mass cancellation of flights affecting thousands of passengers. Hackers claim to have penetrated deep into the "Aeroflot" network, compromising 7000 servers.
In addition, combat operations continue in Ukraine. As a result of a Russian drone attack on a residential building in Kyiv, all residents were affected, including a small girl. Ukrainian military reports the destruction of 309 drones and two rockets during the attack.
In eastern Ukraine, Russian troops captured new populated areas, while in the Sumy region, civilians were trapped during the shelling.
The U.S. also announced new assistance to Ukraine, including the supply of 33,000 sets of components for drones, which allow them to autonomously track targets.
