Russia lost 1,050 soldiers in one day
- Russia reported a loss of 1,050 soldiers in a single day.
- The total losses of Russian troops have reached 1,051,300 personnel.
- Military equipment also suffered significant losses.

According to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian army lost 1,050 soldiers in one day, from July 28 to July 29, 2025. This contributed to the overall personnel losses, which are estimated at approximately 1,051,300 soldiers since the beginning of the conflict on February 24, 2022.
In addition, during this period, Russian forces lost:
- 11,065 tanks (+4);
- 23,064 armored fighting vehicles;
- 30,865 artillery systems (+39);
- 1,451 multiple launch rocket systems (+1);
- 1,202 anti-aircraft systems (+1);
- 421 aircraft;
- 340 helicopters;
- 48,585 operational-tactical UAVs (+192);
- 3,548 cruise missiles (+2);
- 28 ships/boats;
- 1 submarine;
- 56,687 vehicles and fuel tanks (+91);
- 3,935 special vehicles and other equipment.
Recent attacks by Russian troops included the use of kamikaze drones, which continue to inflict strikes on Ukraine, particularly in the Izium area. Despite significant losses, Russian troops are trying to advance in the direction of Pokrovsk.
