Aid in Gaza Reduces Hunger, But Killings Continue
- More than 70 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli shelling.

On July 29, 2025, the Gaza sector — As a result of Israeli shelling, at least 78 Palestinians have been killed, including a pregnant woman, whose child could not survive after the delivery operation. Many people have died while trying to get aid, despite recent attempts by Israel to ease conditions for the delivery of humanitarian aid.
Israel has announced a temporary halt to military operations in Gaza for 10 hours a day, as well as designated safe routes for aid delivery. However, humanitarian organizations indicate that these measures are insufficient to combat the increasing hunger in the region.
A representative of the aid program OON reported that all 55 trucks of aid that arrived were distributed to the points specified. Meanwhile, Israel continues military operations along with humanitarian measures.
Situation with Newborns
A newborn, who was born after the death of the mother, has become yet another witness to the horrific situation. The mother died as a result of the airstrike, which also claimed the lives of several other people in the Muwasi area.
Israel claims that it is necessary to eliminate civilian casualties, however, daily airstrikes often result in the deaths of women and children.
Aid in Gaza
Images of injured children have sparked outrage around the world, including among close allies of Israel. At the same time, as Israel gradually eases restrictions on humanitarian aid, traditional suppliers are facing chaos and violence during delivery.
According to data, Gaza needs approximately 500-600 trucks per day to meet the needs of the population, but the reality of delivery remains limited.
Humanitarian Aid is Insufficient
In recent days, humanitarian aid deliveries have been taking place, but their effectiveness raises doubts. Experts assert that such measures are inadequate and often result in civilian casualties.
According to OON data, more than 1,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire during attempts to receive aid since the beginning of May. Israel denies that it shoots at civilians, asserting that its target is only militants.
