His body will be transported through his hometown of Birmingham, allowing fans the opportunity to pay their respects. The farewell process will take place on July 30 at 1:00 PM local time and will proceed along Broad Street.

Information was confirmed by BBC WM presenter Ed James, who noted that the cortege will stop near the bridge and the Black Sabbath bench, where fans have left many flowers and messages. Birmingham's mayor Zafar Iqbal emphasized that Osbourne was not only a musical symbol but also the "son of Birmingham."

The event will be accompanied by live music from the local ensemble Bostin' Brass. The area will close off Broad Street for traffic starting at 7:00 AM to ensure safety during the procession.

This event will take place before the private funeral, and the Osbourne family may have the opportunity to interact with memorial items left by fans. For those who cannot attend in person, an online stream will be available.

The Birmingham City Council has worked on organizing the event in close cooperation with the Osbourne family, which covered the costs for conducting the ceremony.
