On July 29, 2025, during Russian attacks in Donetsk and Kherson regions, four workers of the State Emergency Service (SES) were injured.
In particular, in Kostyantynivka on the Donetsk front, two rescuers were injured as a result of a shelling by an artillery strike while they were evacuating civilians from the unsafe zone. The strike occurred in the morning, and as a result, a service vehicle was also damaged.
In Kherson, two rescuers were injured as a result of an artillery strike on a power line of one of the SES subdivisions. The injured were taken to the hospital for medical assistance.
SES emphasized that Russian troops are aware that they are attacking rescuers, realizing that they are the last line of defense for the civilian population. These actions are part of a systematic tactic of intimidation and terror against civilians.
