Cash App Launches Money Pooling Feature for Users

  • Cash App launches the Pools feature for group payments
  • Users can invite others and track contributions
  • The feature is available only for personal use

According to The Verge, ZDNet.

Cash App has introduced a new feature that allows users to pool money for shared payments. This feature, called Pools, allows organizers to invite participants, set a target amount, and easily track contributions. Users can invite others via $Cashtag or a link, and can also use Apple Pay and Google Pay to make payments.

According to information from Cash App, this feature will be available to a selected group of users starting July 29, 2025, and will eventually become available to everyone. Organizers can close the pool at any time to transfer the money to their account in Cash App.

Cash App emphasizes that the Pools feature is intended for personal use and is not suitable for investments or charitable purposes. It provides a convenient way for group fundraising for various events, such as birthday celebrations or group trips.
