On July 29, 2025, Andriy Pyatov and Dario Srna welcomed Mircea Lucescu on his 80th birthday. Former players of Donetsk's "Shakhtar" expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the coach, who worked with the team for many years.

Pyatov, who was the goalkeeper for "Shakhtar" from 2007 to 2023, noted that Lucescu will always remain in his heart. He expressed the coach's strong character and numerous successes.

Dario Srna, the former captain of the team, also joined in the welcome, emphasizing Lucescu's contribution to the development of the club and the personal growth of the players.

Mircea Lucescu coached "Shakhtar" from 2004 to 2016 and won 22 titles, making him the most successful coach in the club's history.
