The book also addresses the difficulties the company has faced, including the resignation of 18% of employees in early 2024. Despite this, Goop continues to grow, especially in the beauty and fashion segments, where Paltrow sees potential for development.

Oddell describes Paltrow as someone who can be simultaneously charming and supercilious, drawing attention to herself in public for over 30 years.
