Trump Reduces Deadline for Russia to Ten Days

  • Trump has reduced the deadline ultimatum for Russia to ten days.
  • The USA plans to impose tariffs if no agreement is reached.
  • The US President no longer wants to communicate with Putin.

This is reported by Ukrinform, Interfax Ukraine.

The US President Donald Trump announced that he is reducing the deadline ultimatum for Russia to ten days, starting from today. He made this announcement during his return from Scotland to Washington, as reported by Ukrinform.

"Ten days from today," Trump stated. The President added that if Russia does not agree to the terms, the USA will impose tariffs and other restrictions.

He also expressed the opinion that this may not apply to Russia, as, according to his words, Putin evidently wants to continue the war. Trump noted that earlier, on July 14, he announced a 50-day ultimatum for Russia, but on July 28 shortened it to 10-12 days.

Moreover, Trump stated that he is no longer interested in meetings with Putin, but emphasized the necessity of reaching an agreement to end the war in Ukraine.
