FBI recovers stolen watches belonging to actor Keanu Reeves

Chilean authorities reported on July 29, 2025, that they recovered six valuable watches stolen from Canadian actor Keanu Reeves, following an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Among the watches is a Rolex, the value of which is not less than $9,500. The watches were seized during a police raid that took place earlier.

The FBI is organizing the return of Reeves' watches, which are well-known for their roles in the films "The Matrix" and "John Wick." Chilean prosecutors confirmed that Reeves identified the watches as those that were stolen from his home in Los Angeles in June 2023 during a series of high-profile raids.

This news was announced at a press conference by the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security of the USA, Kristi Noem, to discuss issues of transnational crime.

Noem also became a victim of the raid, in which her bag was stolen in Washington in April 2025. The total value of Reeves' watches was estimated at $125,000, according to Marshal Varasa, a police officer from the theft investigation department in Chile.

The watches stolen from Reeves' home were found in Santiago, the capital of Chile, during a police raid, during which stolen vehicles, iPhones, stolen watches, and designer bags were also discovered. This operation was carried out in cooperation with the FBI as part of an investigation into a series of robberies committed by criminal groups from Southern America, which targeted homes of celebrities and professional athletes, such as footballer Travis Kelce.

In April, the Chilean police announced the arrest of 23 individuals in connection with this case. Varasa also noted that prosecutors continue to investigate a possible connection between the robbery of Reeves' watches and other high-profile robberies.
