The first stage, group stage, will last from July 29 to September 7. In it, teams will be divided into six groups of six teams, where each team will play three games. The four best teams from each league will advance to the playoffs, which will take place from September 19 to September 31.

Competition Format

In the new format, teams will receive three points for a win, two for a draw in a penalty shootout, and one for a loss in a penalty shootout. All matches that end in a tie will immediately go to a penalty shootout.

Match Breakdown

The breakdown of group matches includes meetings such as:

  • July 29: Toluca vs. Columbus Crew, Montreal vs. Leon, New York City vs. Puebla.
  • July 30: Inter Miami vs. Atlas.
  • July 31: Chivas vs. New York Red Bulls.

The final and the match for third place will take place on September 31. This tournament also provides teams with the opportunity to earn three spots for the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup.
