Paolini, who was eliminated in the first round, failed to capitalize on match point, leading 6-2, 5-4, and eventually lost with a score of 2-6, 7-5, 7-6 (5).

This time, it was yet another confirmation of the poor form of Paolini after her victory at the WTA 1000 tournament in Rome in the spring of 2025.
