Dynamo defeated Hamrun and is preparing for new challenges

Kyiv's Dynamo defeated Hamrun Spartans in the return match of the second qualifying round of the Champions League with a score of 3:0. The match will take place on July 29, 2025, allowing the team to advance to the next stage of the qualifiers.
Head coach Oleksandr Shovkovsky shared his thoughts on the game, noting that the upcoming matches will be more challenging. He emphasized the importance of preparation for new superiors who might be stronger.
Central defender Taras Mykhailik also expressed himself after the match, calling the victory "a dream" and "a great honor" to play for Dynamo. He stated that the team must continue to work on their weaknesses to achieve new heights in the Champions League.
Dynamo will play in the third round against the winner of the pair Maccabi (Tel Aviv, Israel) or Pathos (Cyprus). The first match will take place on July 30, 2025, and the return game – on September 6, 2025.
