51 out of 78 Russian drones destroyed in overnight attack

During the night of July 29 to 30, Russian troops carried out an attack on Ukraine, launching 78 drones of the Shahed type and other drones from the territory of Russia and temporarily occupied Crimea.

According to the report from the Command of the Air Force of Ukraine, the Ukrainian air defense system destroyed 51 drones. The attack began at 22:30 on July 29.

Among the features of this attack is the use of all eight reactive drones in the northern direction. The air attack was reflected with the help of aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare tools, and mobile fire groups.

According to preliminary data as of 09:00, 51 drones were destroyed or shot down in the northern and eastern regions of Ukraine. However, 27 drones reached their targets in seven different locations, while the wreckage of destroyed drones fell in two zones.
