Russian troops attack Ochakiv in Mykolaiv region

On July 30, 2025, Russian troops shelled the city of Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region using a multiple launch rocket system. According to the information from the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration, Vitaliy Kim, the shelling began at 00:20. As a result of the attack, 11 private buildings were damaged, including one multi-apartment building, three vehicles, and five state buildings.

During the shelling, one of the damaged buildings caught fire, and a fire broke out on the dry grass. However, according to preliminary data, there are no casualties reported.

Shelling of Ochakiv

Ochakiv is often subjected to shelling from the side of Russian troops, who use multiple launch rocket systems, drones, and missiles. On July 15, there was also a missile strike that resulted in a fire in the city. Earlier, on June 22, three people were injured during a shelling incident, including two children.

On April 7, Russians launched an attack on Ochakiv, damaging residential buildings and the city's infrastructure. On March 3, Russian troops shelled Ochakiv artillery.
