The English women's football team, which became the European champion in 2025, announced the holding of a friendly match against the Chinese team at Wembley Stadium on November 29. This match will be the third for the Lionesses at Wembley this year.

After celebrating their victory at Euro 2025, which included a parade on an open-top bus in London, coach Sarina Wiegman noted that the team is already planning preparations for the qualifying tournament for the 2027 World Cup, which begins in the summer of 2026.

The Lionesses emphasized that the game against China will be an important stage of preparation, as the team needs to compete with top teams outside of Europe. Wiegman stressed that playing against a top Asian team like China will be valuable experience before the start of the qualifying matches.

The team also plans to hold a match during the international window in November, while the second friendly match in November has not yet been announced.
