Apple has released iOS 18.6 with important updates for iPhone

On July 30, 2025, Apple introduced the new version iOS 18.6, which is the sixth major update for the iOS 18 operating system. This update became available more than two months after the release of iOS 18.5.

iOS 18.6 includes 29 important security fixes, including a fix for a vulnerability in WebKit, which supports the Safari browser. One of the fixes addresses a problem that could lead to the leak of sensitive information during the playback of certain websites.

In addition, the update fixes a bug in the Photos app that prevented users from deleting certain videos. Apple also changed the App Store rules in the European Union, allowing the installation of alternative app stores.

To download iOS 18.6, users can go to their iPhone settings, select "General," and then "Software Update." The size of the update is around 900 MB.

It is important to note that iOS 18.6 is likely to be the last update before the release of iOS 26 in the fall, along with new iPhone models.
