In western Connecticut, Vince McMahon, former WWE CEO, became a figure in the case regarding the accident, which took place at the Mohegan Sun on July 29, 2025, when he, according to police reports, failed to maintain distance and collided with the rear of a BMW 430, resulting in significant damage to his own vehicle - a 2024 Bentley Continental GT Speed.
According to police data, as a result of the accident, he was not injured, all drivers were provided with breathalyzer tests. McMahon was accused of being under the influence and failing to maintain distance. He was fined $500 and is required to appear in court in Stamford on September 26.
This accident occurred just a few days after the announcement of the death of legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan, whom McMahon previously praised in his statement. The accident also involved a collision with vehicles that were traveling in the opposite direction when the cars collided with another vehicle.
It is noted that McMahon left the position of WWE CEO in 2022 due to allegations of sexual misconduct. He also filed a lawsuit against the executive position of TKO Group Holdings, the parent company of WWE, last year, following the filing of allegations of sexual misconduct against a former employee of the company. McMahon denies all allegations, which still remain the subject of investigation.
