In New York, the publishing house Crown, which is part of Penguin Random House, announced the release of Senator John Fetterman's memoir titled "Unfettered," scheduled for November 11, 2025.

In his book, Fetterman recounts his journey from the mayor of Braddock, Pennsylvania, to national prominence. He also addresses his physical and mental health challenges, including an incident that occurred in 2022, as well as conflicts he faced with Republicans and members of his own party.

Fetterman, who is one of the most prominent figures in Washington, known for his height of 6 feet 8 inches, worked on the book alongside Buzz Bissinger, the author of "Friday Night Lights."

In his memoirs, Fetterman reveals for the first time the full history of his life and career, describing his battle with depression, which led him to a medical center in Walter Reed, and his recovery after the incident that nearly ended his political career. The book is a "no-holds-barred" account of his extraordinary life and public service.
