Ukraine Returns Children from Russian Occupation
- Three Ukrainian children have been returned from Russian occupation.
- Two teenagers continued their online education in Ukrainian schools.
- An 8-year-old girl was returned to her family after three years of separation.
This was reported by Interfax Ukraine, Ukrayinska Pravda.
As part of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative, three Ukrainian children were returned from temporarily occupied territories and from the territory of Russia, reported the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak.
Among those returned are two teenagers, aged 16 and 17, who, despite constant pressure from the occupiers, refused to attend Russian school and continued their studies online in a Ukrainian school, securing their safety. Now they are in the free territory of Ukraine and can plan their future without fear.
Also returned was an 8-year-old girl, who had lived in Russia for several years. After three years of separation, she was reunited with her family.
Yermak thanked the Helping to Leave team for their assistance in the return of the children.
