DJI Launches Electric Bicycles Amflow in the USA

Today, DJI presents its line of electric mountain bicycles Amflow, which are now available for purchase in the USA. This comes a year after the bicycles with the Avinox system were introduced in Europe. Avinox is a powerful system that features a 1000W motor, capable of generating a maximum torque of 120Nm.

Amflow PL bicycles weigh only 19.2 kg and have impressive technical characteristics, including a four-bar suspension system and a rear shock absorber, tuned in collaboration with FOX. These bicycles are suitable for both regular use and off-road riding, thanks to the capabilities of the Avinox system.

The charging system uses GaN 3x technology, which allows charging the battery up to 75% of its total capacity in 90 minutes. The bicycles also feature a sensory screen for controlling assistance modes and displaying important information. The Amflow PL model has various assistance modes, including an auto-mode that automatically adjusts the assistance level based on road conditions.

However, the prices for these bicycles are quite high: the standard model starts at $7,499, while the Pro model costs up to $10,199. Consumers can sign up for a test drive to try out the bicycles before purchasing. DJI also licenses the Avinox system for other manufacturers, which may lead to the appearance of more affordable options in the future.

This new direction does not involve the drone manufacturing company, which recently released the new Mavic 4 Pro model.
