This morning, on July 30, a member of the Danville city council, Li Vohler, was attacked in his office. The police reported that this was an attack on a private individual.

The 38-year-old Vohler was taken to the hospital after the attacker, 29-year-old Shotsy Michael Back Hayes, assaulted him. The incident occurred around 11:30 AM when witnesses saw the attacker enter the building where Vohler works.

The police found a vehicle, which is suspected to belong to the attacker. Hayes has been detained, and law enforcement officials stated that the attack is not related to the political activities of the council member.

Vohler was the youngest member of the Danville city council when he was elected in 2012. He is an active participant in the youth of the republic of Virdzhynia.
