The Trailer for the New Film Zootopia 2 Has Been Released

The trailer for the new animated film Zootopia 2 was released on July 30, 2025. In the sequel, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde return, voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman, respectively.

In the film, Judy and Nick discover that their partnership is not as strong as they believed when Chief Bogo, voiced by Idris Elba, sends them to a counseling session titled "Partners in Crisis." This turns out to be a test for their partnership when they are called in to investigate a case related to the emergence of a strange virus in the metropolitan area.

Among the returning actors in the sequel are Bonnie Hunt, Don Lake, Nate Torrence, and Jenny Slate. New characters will include Gary De'Sneik, Nibbles, and Dr. Fabs, voiced by Quinta Brunson.

The first film Zootopia was released in March 2016 and won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature in 2017. The directors of the new film are Byron Howard and Jared Bush, who also worked on the original.

Zootopia 2 will be released in theaters on November 26, 2025.
