Dynamo and Shakhtar compete in European cups

• Dynamo will face Panathinaikos in the Champions League.
• Shakhtar will meet with Beşiktaş in the Europa League.
• Both teams successfully passed the previous rounds of the European cups.

Kyiv's Dynamo and Donetsk's Shakhtar are participating in the qualifiers for European cups. Dynamo will play against the Greek club Panathinaikos in the second round of the Champions League qualification. Shakhtar, in turn, will meet with the Turkish Beşiktaş in the second round of the Europa League qualification.

Dynamo has already secured a victory over the Maltese club Hamrun Spartans with an aggregate score of 6:0 in the previous round. Panathinaikos in their last match drew with the Scottish Rangers (1:1).

Shakhtar also advanced to the second round, defeating Beşiktaş over two matches. In the first leg, Shakhtar won with a score of 4:2, giving them an advantage before the upcoming match.

The matches of the second round of qualification are scheduled for July 5/6 and July 12.
