Four relatives of a child found dead in Tennessee identified

In Tennessee, an investigation began after remains were discovered left on a stranger's porch, and later four of his relatives were found dead. On July 30, 2025, in the Tigrett area, local authorities received a report about the remains found in a vehicle, after which medical personnel arrived on site to assess the child's condition.

Shortly after this, in the neighboring area of Lake, four individuals were found dead, who were identified as relatives of the child. Among them were the child's parents, Courtney Rose and Matthew Wilson, as well as a grandmother and grandfather. The bodies were discovered in a wooded area near Tiptonville.

So far, no suspects have been arrested in the case. The investigation is ongoing with the participation of several human rights organizations, including the FBI. Sheriff of Dyer County, Jeff Box, confirmed that the team is working on the case to clarify the circumstances of the relatives' deaths and the child's disappearance.

Medical professionals reported that the remains in the absence of security details about the death of the relatives remain unknown. Human rights activists are actively searching for the vehicle, in which the child may have been left.
