Kremlin Reacts to US Sanctions and New Agreements with Ukraine

The Kremlin confirmed on July 31, 2025, that it continues to adhere to the statements of US President Donald Trump regarding sanctions against Russia. According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Russia has already developed "immunity" to such measures due to ongoing experience. Trump warned that the US could impose tariffs on Russian goods if Moscow does not show progress in the war with Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also spoke about the approval of key principles of large-scale agreements regarding military assistance from the US. He is hopeful for the realization of these agreements, although he did not provide details.
In Ukraine, the struggle against Russian troops continues. In Kyiv, as a result of an attack by a drone, at least four people were killed, and as a result of a rocket strike on a military training facility, three servicemen were killed. Also, the Security Service of Ukraine detained an officer of the territorial defense forces, who is suspected of espionage in favor of Russia, for providing information about the position of western weapons.
More than 200 critics of the Kremlin expressed outrage over the visit of the Russian delegation to Switzerland, accusing Europe of providing shelter to "military criminals." At the same time, in Italy, the government summoned the Russian ambassador in connection with the list of western leaders designated by Moscow as anti-Russian figures. In the regions of Ukraine, there is a threat from the side of Sarani, which is undermining the agricultural activity.
