Russia Attacks Kyiv: Destruction and Search for Victims
- In the Sviatoshynskyi district, a residential building has been destroyed, and rescue operations are ongoing.

On July 31, Russia launched a massive attack on Kyiv, using drones and missiles. As a result of the shelling in the Sviatoshynskyi district, a section of a residential building was destroyed, and people were trapped under the rubble.
Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that as a result of the attack, at least six people have died, and over 50 have been injured. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that rescuers are conducting searches for people under the rubble.
Victims were also reported in other districts of the city. In the Solomianskyi district, several buildings were damaged, and fires broke out in non-residential premises. In the Holosiivskyi district, a school and a kindergarten were damaged, while in the Shevchenkivskyi district, a window was blown out in a children's medical facility.
Overall, the attack has been reported to have caused destruction in more than 27 locations throughout Kyiv. Rescuers continue to work at the sites of incidents, striving to extract victims.
