Zelensky reported significant destruction of residential infrastructure, including the complete destruction of a multi-storey building in one of the districts.
In the morning of July 31, the deaths of six individuals were confirmed, among them a six-year-old boy and his mother. There are also numerous injured who are receiving necessary assistance.
The president emphasized that Russia demonstrated its disregard for Ukraine's peace initiatives and those of its partners, resorting to new acts of violence. He highlighted the importance of strength for achieving peace, stating that Ukraine's partners must have all the necessary resources to force Moscow to engage in peace negotiations.

In the morning of July 31, Kyiv was struck by a combined Russian attack involving additional missiles and kamikaze drones. The hardest-hit areas were the Svyatoshynskyi and Solomianskyi districts, with significant damage also recorded in Holosiivskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts.
