Formula 1 Returns to the Hungarian Grand Prix in 2025
- Oscar Piastri is leading the championship with 266 points.
- Ferrari is hoping for a successful performance with the new upgrades.
- Lewis Hamilton is trying to find the optimal settings for Ferrari.
The Hungarian Grand Prix of Formula 1 will take place this weekend, from September 1 to 3, 2025, at the Hungaroring track in Budapest. This will be the 14th round of the season and the last race before the summer break.
Championship leader Oscar Piastri scored a win at the Belgian Grand Prix, which took place earlier, and currently has a 16-point lead over his teammate in the McLaren team, Lando Norris. Piastri won the Hungarian Grand Prix last year, which became his first victory in Formula 1.
The Ferrari team, led by Frederick Vasseur, is hoping for a successful performance in Budapest. After the launch of the new upgrades at the Belgian Grand Prix, the team hopes that the results will be even better on the track, which is more suitable for their improvements.
Lewis Hamilton, who also races for Ferrari, aims to improve his results, as he has not yet scored points this season. He noted that the team needs to help find optimal settings for the car.
