In the USA, alcoholic energy drinks have been recalled

  • The recall concerns two flavors of the High Noon Beach Variety.
  • Some flavored drinks may contain alcohol that is not disclosed.
  • Consumers are advised to check the codes of the packages on their products.

In the USA, a recall of High Noon Beach Variety flavored drinks occurred due to serious labeling issues. In some packages that contain alcoholic flavored drinks, there were misbranded cans that had the label of the energy drink Celsius Astro Vibe.

This recall was initiated by the company High Noon after it was discovered that the supplier of the misbranded cans had sent defective cans of Celsius. As a result, consumption of these cans may lead to undisclosed alcohol consumption.

Two flavors of the High Noon Beach Variety 12-pack were distributed to distributors in eight states, including Florida, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin. The recalled packages were sent out between July 21 and July 23.

Consumers are advised to check their Celsius Astro Vibe cans for the same codes as those in the recalled products and to avoid cans with incorrect labeling. If anyone has recalled High Noon packages, they can contact customer service for further instructions and possible reimbursement options.

The FDA confirmed that at this time there have been no reported cases of adverse reactions or negative consequences from consuming these drinks.
