- Kamala Harris will release a memoir about her campaign on September 23.
- The book "107 Days" will reflect her observations and experiences.
- Harris will not run for the position of governor of California in 2026.
Former Vice President Kamala Harris is publishing a memoir titled "107 Days," dedicated to her historic presidential campaign, on September 23. The publisher Simon & Schuster announced the release of the book, which will depict the period of her shortened campaign.
"This year I started my campaign for the presidency of the United States. 107 days on the road, fighting for our future — this is the shortest presidential campaign in history. I spent a lot of time reflecting on those days and wrote this book to share my observations and experiences," Harris said in a video announcement.
General Director of Simon & Schuster Jonathan Karp noted that Harris focuses on what is important for readers, including specific details of content that have not yet been disclosed. It is known that Harris became a candidate for the Democrats after Joe Biden announced his candidacy through a delayed debate.
In addition, she announced that she will not run for the position of governor of California in 2026. The publisher describes the book as "a captivating narrative" with "insightful and revealing insights."
It is predicted that "107 Days" will become a significant contribution to political literature, and Karp asserts that the book captures the drama of presidential campaigns better than any other publication.
