On July 31, Russian troops carried out a strike in the central part of Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region, resulting in casualties. According to preliminary data, the strike targeted a residential building, resulting in the death of one person, while 11 others sustained injuries.
The head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin, reported that among the injured, one person is in serious condition. Half of the five-story building was completely destroyed.
All relevant services are working at the scene of the incident, but it is still unknown if there may be people under the rubble.
After the attack, the operator of public transport in Kramatorsk announced temporary changes in bus routes. Specifically, routes 11, 11L, and 16A have been altered.
The center of Kramatorsk was hit by obstruction, which triggered a powerful explosion and a large cloud of smoke over the city. This is not the first instance of obstruction in this area, as earlier Russian troops had also targeted residential buildings, resulting in civilian casualties.
