A new marketplace for drones is being launched in Ukraine

• 11 drone manufacturers are integrated into the new marketplace.
• The State Procurement Agency oversees the entire ordering process.
• The system allows reducing delivery times for drones to a few weeks.

The State Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine continues to conclude contracts with drone manufacturers. On the DOT-Chain Defence platform, 11 companies are already integrated.

Among the manufacturers whose drones are currently available for the army are Escadrone, TAF Drones, Vyriy Drone, VNA Trade, General Chereshnia, and Hryph.

At the pilot stage of the project, 12 combat brigades can order FPV drones through the marketplace. In the future, the system will be expanded to all subdivisions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a larger variety of drone types.

The head of the State Procurement Agency, Arsen Zhumadylov, noted that the platform aims to address the issue when military units do not receive the necessary drones to carry out their tasks. Now, subdivisions can order drones according to their specific needs.

The marketplace format allows military units to independently choose and order the necessary drones, utilizing funds allocated by the Agency. For the pilot stage, the Ministry of Defense allocated 1 billion hryvnias.

The Agency is responsible for the entire process, starting from the signing of contracts to the organization of logistics and payments. Thanks to a digital model of interaction, the ordering process is simplified to three digital signatures, which allows shortening delivery times to a few weeks.

The system, launched at the beginning of July 2025, currently works with FPV drones, but in the future, it will also include other types of unmanned aerial vehicles.
