- Windows 10 users will receive support until July 2026.
- The release of new drivers expands G-Sync support for monitors.
According to Ars Technica, The Verge.
Nvidia announced that it will no longer support the GPU architectures Maxwell, Pascal, and Volta with new Game Ready driver updates after July 2025. This means that users of the GeForce GTX 900 and 10 series, including the popular GTX 1060 model, will not receive optimizations for new games.
After this point, Nvidia will end all driver support for Windows 10 in July 2026. Although this is a year later than the official end date of Windows 10 support from Microsoft, Nvidia will continue to release security updates for older cards until July 2028.
Meanwhile, the new Game Ready driver, which is being released today, expands support for the latest titles on Windows 10 and new monitors with G-Sync technology. Nvidia has also improved performance in new games, such as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Mafia: The Old Country.
