Governor of Arkansas Sarah Huckabee Sanders is embarking on a trade mission to Israel next week. This will be her first trip since her father's appointment as Mike Huckabee, U.S. Ambassador to Israel.

The trip is scheduled from September 6 to 9, during which Sanders will also visit the United Arab Emirates. She aims to meet with high-ranking government officials in Israel and hold roundtable discussions with Israeli companies, focusing on agricultural technology and equipment.

Sanders also plans to discuss cooperation with companies that already have investments in Arkansas. In the UAE, she will concentrate on aerospace and defense industries.

Israel is one of Arkansas's largest trading partners, and the state exported over $150 million in goods to the country in 2024.
