Manager of Jake Paul confirms that a fight with Joshua is possible

  • Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua could meet in the ring.
  • Negotiations for the fight are already underway between the boxing teams.
  • The fight could take place at Wembley Stadium at the beginning of 2026.

Manager of Jake Paul, Nakisa Bidarian, confirms that a fight with Anthony Joshua "could absolutely happen." He noted that negotiations regarding this bout are already being conducted. Bidarian believes that Paul is "the superior boxer" in this matchup, especially since Joshua has suffered two losses to Oleksandr Usyk, who has similar dimensions to Paul.

Bidarian emphasized that Paul does not have the same experience as Joshua, whose weight is in the 208-210 pound range, making their meeting realistic. Joshua has not returned to the ring since his loss to Daniel Dubois in 2024, but he plans to return by the end of the year.

Jake Paul, in turn, continues to gain popularity in the boxing world, having defeated former WBC champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in early 2025, which helped him potentially break into the top 15 of the WBA rankings among cruisers.

Bidarian also mentioned that they are discussing the possibility of holding the fight at Wembley Stadium at the beginning of 2026. Joshua, according to his promoter Eddie Hearn, could arrange this fight as preparation for a potential showdown with Tyson Fury.
