The 60-year-old Begiristain joined City in 2012, and during this time the club won 21 trophies, including seven Premier League titles, two FA Cups, and the first Champions League trophy in 2023.
The club plans to celebrate Begiristain's achievements during the Manchester derby on February 14, where he will be a special guest of the match. Previously, Begiristain worked in Spain as the technical director of FC Barcelona from 2003 to 2010 and played an important role during Pep Guardiola's tenure.
