Ravens Players Invited Michael Phelps to Teach Them How to Swim

  • Michael Phelps agreed to teach the Ravens players how to swim.
  • The team has a new aquatics center, but many players cannot swim.
  • The invitation was sent by quarterback Marlon Humphrey through social media.

The players of the Baltimore Ravens reached out to Michael Phelps, the 23-time Olympic champion in swimming, asking him to teach them how to swim. The video was shared by quarterback Marlon Humphrey on social media. In it, he was also joined by safety Ronnie Stanley, safety Kyle Hamilton, and tight end Charlie Kolar, who were standing in the pool.

In the video, Hamilton noted that one-third of Ravens players cannot swim. Humphrey invited Phelps to come to the team's training camp and teach them how to swim in the new aquatics center.

Phelps positively responded to the invitation, replying: "I hear you! Let's make it happen!" He is a native of Towson, a suburb of Baltimore, and has always supported the Ravens.
