The company Backyard Kids is recalling toy kitchen models Farm to Table, after a 23-month-old child died when her shirt got caught on a hook during playtime. The hooks are used for hanging large toys, such as pots and pans. The company is offering a free replacement of the hooks for consumers with recalled units.

The recalled kitchens were sold at such platforms as Amazon, Walmart, and KidKraft.com from 2018 until July 2025. The price range of the units varied from $120 to $270. The company also recalled 302,000 Cosco high chairs due to a similar hazard. The recall was initiated after 34 reports of incidents regarding the recalled item or safety concerns related to choking hazards.
