On July 30, 2025, a farewell took place in Birmingham for the legendary rock musician Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away on July 22 at the age of 76. Thousands of fans gathered on the streets of his hometown to honor the memory of the artist.

The procession began at Osbourne's childhood home in Aston and passed through the city center, stopping by the Black Sabbath bridge, where fans left flowers and notes in memory of the rocker. Members of the Osbourne family, including his wife Sharon and children, accompanied the procession.

During the farewell, a local spiritual orchestra performed the hit "Iron Man." Fans threw flowers into the casket, and also provided support for Sharon, who could not hold back tears.

This event became the final farewell to the artist, who left a significant mark on world music. Osbourne struggled with illness due to Parkinson's and complications following surgery on his spine, which forced him to retire from the music scene. However, he gave a final concert in Birmingham, where he reunited with the band Black Sabbath.
