Major Transfer: Osimhen Signed a Contract with Galatasaray

Victor Osimhen signed a contract with Galatasaray, completing his transfer from Napoli. The deal became the largest in the history of Turkish football, as the club paid 75 million euros (85.6 million dollars) for the forward.

The 26-year-old striker spent last season at Galatasaray on loan, and now he has signed a four-year contract with the club. Along with the agreement, Osimhen will receive a guaranteed salary of 15 million euros per year, as well as a loyalty bonus in the amount of 1 million euros.

According to Galatasaray, Napoli retains 10% of any future transfer agreement with Osimhen. In the previous season, the forward scored 37 goals in 41 matches, including 26 goals in the championship.

This transfer takes place ahead of the new season, when Osimhen aims to help Galatasaray defend the Turkish championship title.

Prior to this, he played for Napoli, where he became one of the key players, scoring 76 goals over four seasons. His successes in the previous season in Turkey attracted the attention of other clubs, but he chose to remain at Galatasaray.
