- Everton plans to improve its proposal.
The club Southampton rejected the proposal from Everton for 27 million pounds sterling for Tyler Dibling, leaving the Merseysiders with the intention to prepare an improved proposal for the acquisition of the young player. The 19-year-old footballer, who is part of the England U21 team, has two years left on his contract with Southampton.
Dibling has shown himself to be one of the few positive moments in a challenging season for the club that has faced relegation. According to information, Aston Villa, Fulham, and West Ham have also expressed interest in his transfer.
Everton, under the leadership of David Moyes, is facing difficulties in this summer's transfer market. The club has already lost nine players from last season, but so far has only managed to sign four new players. Moyes plans to strengthen the squad ahead of the new season.
Southampton earlier indicated that they are ready to sell Dibling for a sum close to 40 million pounds sterling. This could be a new opportunity for Everton in negotiations.
