Russian Attack on Zaporizhzhia Leaves Casualties

On the night of September 1, Russian troops attacked the Zaporizhzhia region, hitting residential buildings. According to the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration Ivan Fedorov, as a result of the attack, one person was killed, and three others were injured.
Fedorov reported that a 63-year-old man was killed in Vesele, where Russian shells hit a private house. In Malokaterynivka, as a result of the shelling, a residential building was also damaged, and a 65-year-old man who was injured received necessary medical assistance.
Additionally, during the nighttime attack, two women aged 36 and 77 were injured. One of them was injured in Vesele, and the other in Malokaterynivka. Both received necessary medical assistance.
Strike on the Colony in Zaporizhzhia
On July 28, Russian troops launched four guided bombs on the territory of the Bilenkivska correctional colony. As a result, this led to the complete destruction of the colony, while administrative premises and a quarantine zone suffered partial damage. According to confirmed data, 16 detainees were killed, and the total number of injured exceeded 90 people. The Minister of Justice of Ukraine, Herman Halushchenko, reported that the detainees were evacuated after the attack.
