44 Russian Drones Destroyed During Night Attack

• The Ukrainian Air Defense shot down 44 drones during the attack.

In the evening of July 31, Russian troops launched an attack on Ukraine, deploying 72 Shahed-type drones and various types of loitering munitions from the cities of Millerovo, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. According to the data from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Ukrainian air defense system successfully destroyed 44 of these drones.

The attack started at 21:30, and as of 09:00 on August 1, it was reported that 44 drones had been shot down or destroyed in the northern, southern, eastern, and central regions of Ukraine. In nine locations, 28 drones were confirmed to be engaged.

Russian forces attempted to strike at positions in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk regions, and also in Kyiv region. As a result of the attack in Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region, significant fires broke out in civilian industrial facilities.
