Tottenham Hotspur is actively working on an agreement with Bavaria regarding the transfer of Joao Palhinha.

The negotiations between the clubs are at a preliminary stage, and a previous agreement has been reached. It is believed that the issue of personal terms has already become a formality, while the agreement anticipates the possibility of buying out the 30-year-old player.

Palhinha has significant experience in the Premier League, having played 68 matches over two years in Fulham before moving to Germany for £42.3 million in the summer of 2024. The Portuguese player has played only six matches in the Bundesliga since his transfer to Bavaria and intends to return to England.

Tottenham has already secured the transfer of Matheus Telya from Bavaria following the arrival of new head coach Thomas Frank. In addition, Mohamed Kudus from West Ham has been signed for £55 million. Earlier, the club attempted to sign a midfielder, but did not manage to sign captain Nottinham Forest Morgan Gibbs-White.
